The establishment of Preservation Services in 1992 was the natural offshoot of Jim Hoselton’s family trade. As a 3rd generation roofing operation, our principles have grown based upon family standards rooted in 1931. These traditional values drive the results that have made Preservation Services what it is today: one of Chicago’s most respected commercial roofing providers.

Jim Hoselton is the founder and visionary leader of Preservation Services. His career in the roofing industry dates back to the mid 70’s. This breadth of experience provides unique perspective as a roofing mechanic, foreman, salesman, superintendent, owner, and leader of this highly successful, customer focused organization. Jim is highly respected by both his peers and clients, who trust his ability to provide fiscally responsible building solutions.
Frank joined Preservation Services in the spring of 2020, charged with taking over the day to day operations. He brings with him 15 years of roofing and architectural sheet metal project management experience. Frank’s leadership skills and extensive knowledge of the industry were evident from day one.
Brennan is the hands-on manager that touches everything we do. He is excellent at turning complex problems into client solutions. He is responsible for turning sales into successes.
Nick has 20 years of field and supervisory experience, earning him an expert knowledge of all roofing systems. He is responsible for service operations, sales, emergency response, and small projects. Having been a service technician himself, he has a keen understanding of what both clients and staff need to succeed.
Sharon joined the Preservation Services team in 2008 and has been the office manager since 2012. She does it all: accounting, insurance, and HR. Nothing gets by her. She is a fabulous asset to the company, making sure that all things go as planned.
Administrative Assistant/Media Content Manager
Lexi has a degree in both Creative Writing and Graphic Design and is behind all of Preservation Services’ media content and communications. Her versatility has her assisting everyone in the office from payroll to invoicing to presentations. She has a special talent for getting things done right the first time.
Our Support Team
Jim adopted Greta from a loving home, and it didn’t take her very long to become adjusted to her new life. She quickly became Jim’s running partner, co-pilot, and full time office companion. Though no longer with us, she will always remain the honorary leader of our office support team.
Pitbull and Boston Terrier mix
Jim adopted Bogey in 2011, giving Greta a sweet and affectionate little brother. Bogey is deaf, but he does not let that stop him from enjoying his life to the fullest. He loves getting pets from his humans, laying out in the sun, and eating lots of treats.
Minnie joined the Hoselton family back in 2016. She may have been the smallest of her litter, but her big personality makes up for what she lacks in size. Minnie likes to show off her skills by giving high fives and standing up on her hind legs in exchange for treats. She has lots of energy and loves to go on runs with her humans.
Pitbull, American Staffordshire Terrier, and American Bully mix
Don was brought into Heartland Animal Shelter after he was found as a stray in the Southside of Chicago. Like Bogey, he is also deaf, so when one of Sharon’s friends told her about him, she knew she had to meet him. With his sweet personality, exuberant energy, and adorable floppy ears, he quickly became a loved addition to the Preservation Services family. Don loves meatballs, going swimming, sunbathing, and playing with his best friend, Bogey.
Georgia is the newest addition to Jim’s family. She came all the way from the state of Georgia, earning her her unique name. At only one years old, she is full of puppy energy and loves having an older brother and sister to play with.
